"What Now Shall We Do in Babel?" — Carl Teichric

Drawing on decades of research into cultural and spiritual transformation, Carl Teichrib (author of "Game of Gods" and publisher of the "Convergence: Power and Belief" Substack) traces the story of Babel from Genesis 11 into its modern echoes, most vividly at Burning Man, where he and his organization, Orbis Sentry, run an outreach ministry each year. He walks through case studies in psychedelic spirituality and the interfaith movement (the Parliament of World Religions) before closing with firsthand stories from Burning Man's "Chapel of Babel" and its Temple, a space of grief and mourning that is ultimately burned. Framing believers as ambassadors rather than saviors, he calls the church to engage a rapidly changing culture with honesty, respect, and truth rather than reactionary fear.
